the village in NYC and offers a wide variety of services including
social activities, support groups, counseling, volunteer opportunities,
public education and more.

Men's Health Crisis (GMHC) is a NYC based nonprofit community
organization committed to helping men, women and children with HIV /
AIDS. Some of their services include HIV prevention and health
education, a hotline, groups, supportive services, legal services,
information on treatment issues and more. GMHC also trains and supports
volunteers to help out.

Alliance.

National Alliance on Mental Illness of New York City (NAMI-NYC Metro) is
a support, education, and advocacy organization for the mental health
community. We serve families and individuals whose lives are affected by
mental illness. Whether you have a family member with schizophrenia or
are coping with depression, we have a program for you. All programs and
services are free of charge.
